DAF-AV screens can now be delivered with an additional coating on the (normal) glossy side.   This coating provide several advantages: The coated surface has a fine Anti-Reflective finish toward the viewer. The coated surface is scratch-resistant – resist tough environment. The coated surface is chemical-reisistent – easy to clean ( also speedmarkers) A matt finish on the reverse/rear side optimize installations with mirror.

This screen was specially developed in 2002 to the generation of projectors with light-output of 500 ANSI/m². Hot-spot can be seen due to high peak-gain. Now, in 2009, the peak-gain is lowered to gain 1,5 (fitting projection with ca. 1000 ANSI/m²) nad hot-spot is eliminated.
