DAF-Screens has for more than 15 years been manufacturing screens for AudioVisual Presentations.

During these years, video-projectors has changed significant in terms of light-output, resolution and contrast-ratio. The demand for projection-screens has changed accordingly.

Back years ago, when light-output often was 300-800 ANSI-lumen, high degree of light-transmission in the rear-projection-screens was required to obtain a good result. This often limited the light-diffusion.

Today, projectors often deliver more than 1000-1500 ANSI-lumen per sq.metre and some of the energy
can be used to reduce hot-spot, increase viewing-angle (diffusion) and improve contrast.

DAF Screens A/S has follow this development accordingly and re-designed it's AV-screens to take advantage the new projectors improvements.
